CA Technologies has honoured IT service provider COMPAREX, formerly known as PC-WARE, as LAR Partner of the Year FY 2011. The award is bestowed in recognition of the highest revenue generated with CA products in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region and was presented on 10 May at the annual Distribution and Partner Horizon Summit in Marbella.

IT services company PC-Ware Information Technologies AG and its subsidiaries in 28 countries around the globe will in future trade under the COMPAREX name.

The PC-WARE Group has successfully completed the formation of two subsidiaries, in India and Serbia, initiated at the beginning of the year. In doing so, the ICT service provider has taken another step forward in its strategic efforts to drive international growth and has now extended its regional presence to 28 countries in total. The portfolios of the two newly established subsidiaries PC-WARE India Private Limited and COMPAREX d.o.o. (Serbia) encompass services relating to the Group's software and data centre divisions.

PC-WARE announced today that it has been recognized by VMware as an EMEA winner of a VMware Partner Network Award in the EMEA Infrastructure Virtualization Competency category. The award was presented at VMware Partner Exchange 2011, the company’s annual partner event, on Feb. 9 in Orlando, Fla.

At the annual general meeting held in Leipzig today, the shareholders of PC-Ware Information Technologies AG passed all motions put forward by the Board on the agenda items up for vote by a large majority.
