Customer problems description. Features and advantages:

The customer requested to improve the users management/administration process, as there are some periods of time with massive users´ registrations and leaves, for example students´ registrations in University, and users have to register in/from very heterogeneous systems such as ORACLE data bases, Sun Rays, corporative mail systems, Calendar, Microsoft Active Directory, etc. From the central repository, the LDAP directory represents the basis to manage all the resources in the Organization, including servers, services and users. On the other hand there is a system from which the information will be replicated, just once, to the rest of the repositories in the university. It will make the erasure process and users leaves much easier in all the mentioned systems, without the need to keep indefinitely in time.This set of Solutions offers to the Clients a complete platform for the access to its corporative and departmental applications, making it possible to add in a Portal all their applications, web-based or applications client/server, with customized contens by employee/client/user.

Sold Solution:

We sold the SUN Microsystems LDAP Directory and Metadirectory on SOLARIS 9 (totally services) project. The customer trusted on Comparex experience in previous similar projects, checking and testing references. “Portal and Users Unified Management Consolidation Solution”.

Phases in the project:

Phase 1: LDAP Directory and MEtadirectory with DD.GG ORACLE Integration.

Phase 2: Metadirectroy with Mail, SOLARIS users, Calendar, Active Directory and SunRays.

Phase 3: Portal and Citrix Metraframe. CPX Solution.
